Biography
Ms. Vanessa Mason joined the Shridath Ramphal Centre as a Research Assistant in October 2025. She is a Barbadian national based in her homeland. A distinguished alumna of the SRC’s International Trade Policy Master’s programme from Cohort 21, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations and a Master of Science degree in International Trade Policy. Vanessa’s academic excellence at the University of the West Indies earned her both the Neville Duncan Award for Outstanding Achievement in International Relations, achieving First Class Honours, and Valedictorian honours at the master’s level, graduating with Distinction. She also serves as a community leader, currently holding a Trustee position at Truth in Jesus Advent Believers Church.
